Activities
Assemblies/Programs - Throughout the year various educational, enrichment, and entertainment programs
are provided for the St. Paul students.
Physical Fitness Day - is held in the spring as an end-of-year athletic event coordinated by the P.E. teacher.
Safety Patrol - Eighth grade students compose the safety patrol. Their job is to protect children and help them be aware of traffic hazards.
Servers - Students in grades 5-8 are given the opportunity to be church servers. Training usually begins in the fourth or fifth grade.
Student Council - students composed of a homeroom representative elected by grades 4-8 and an executive committee. The executive committee is composed of a president, vice-president, secretary, and treasurer who campaign in elections that are held twice a year. Meetings are held under the direction of the Student Council sponsor and activities are planned after consultation with the principal.
Student Newspaper - Several Giant Times editions are planned each year. 8th grade students, who are good writers and can meet deadlines, are chosen to serve on the Giant Times staff.
Yearbook - A yearbook is planned and prepared by interested eighth graders and is issued in the spring. Pictures are taken of various activities throughout the year for inclusion in the yearbook.
After School Enrichment - workshops and seminars are offered to the students periodically to enhance the school curriculum. Offerings have included art, writing and French.
